Subject: Learner Profile
Activities done this week: The learner profile which was focussed this week was”knowledgeable”.
The students gained more knowledge about seasons and its related concepts.
Upcoming activities / HW:
Subject: EVS
Activities done this week: Students learnt about seasons and its importance through videos and
rhymes.
2. They learnt the related concepts of seasons “hot & cold and day and night”.
3. To infuse the concept “day and night” the kids were taken out of the school to make them
understand better why we say day and night. They were asked several questions regarding this
concept like
“when do you sleep, when do you take bath, when do you brush your teeth etc.
These activities helped the students develop cognitive and communication, cognitive and
self awareness skills.
Upcoming activities/ HW: Help your child in completing the worksheet.
Subject: Math
Activities done this week: 1. Numbers with their values were recapitulated using the ice creams sticks.
2. Oral counting from 1-10 was done.
3. Pre mathematical concepts “hot and cold” was recapitulated.
4. New concept “day & night” was introduced.
This helped students develop early math skills, spatial awareness of the pre mathematical concepts.
Upcoming activities/ HW: Worksheet given.
Subject: English
Activities done this week: 1.Students recited the “ABCD” song using sound modules and actions.
2. Students enjoyed the rhymes sessions and karadi sessions.
3. Action commands in karadi were taken like: point towards the door, point towards the ceiling,
point towards the floor, tap your head, tap your shoulder, tap your knees, jump up high.
3. Students recapitulated lower case letters with their phonics and with their related objects and they did tracing in tarjani book.
4. We are focussing on lower case letters with phonics and objects.
This helped the students develop early reading, social, language, cognitive, fine motor skills,
communication skills & gross motor skills..
Upcoming activities/ HW: Make your child practice the lower case letter with phonics and
its related pictures.

1. Students recited and watched various hindi and english rhymes.
2. Students did practice for annual day.
This helped students develop language and communication skills.

Activities done this week: 1. Students did exercises through a rhyme “Walrus action song”.

2. They enjoyed playing with beads and blocks and they had a free play.
3. Students enjoyed doing free exercises.
This helped students develop fine motor and gross motor and physical gross motors skills.

Note:
Events: The kids of Nursery A&B had a co curricular field trip to “play2grow”
on 30 November 2018(Friday). They enjoyed a lot and every child took part in all the
activities. Here are few pics from the field trip. More pics will be uploaded on facebook
very soon.
