Subject: Learner Profile            

Activities done this week: The learner profile attributes focused upon this week were

‘inquirer’

Upcoming activities / HW: The learner profile attribute which will be focused

next week  is ‘communicator’

Subject: Unit Of Inquiry

Central Idea: Development of means of transport changed the

ability of humans to move about

Lines of Inquiry:

• means of transportation( on land, in air, in water)
• importance of transportation in our life
• development of the forms of transportation means through time

Activities done this week:

Students created a pictograph about the different means of transport

 which they use to come to school

Students observed the vehicles moving on road and

learnt about different means of vehicles used by people

Students understand the need for different means of transport

used to travel a long distance

Students observing the toys on “inquiry table” and learnt the features

of different means of transport were through See, Think and Wonder activity

Upcoming activities/ HW:  Help your children get an idea of petrol and non-petrol
vehicles. FA1 to be held on Wednesday 12/12/18 and bring pictures of means of
transport on Monday

Activities done this week:

Students recall the backward counting 20-0

Bar graphs were created based upon the data collected on
“how do you come to school” pictograph and data collected by observing moving vehicles on roads.

Formative Assessment on shapes and addition done

Write numbers from 401-450 in a notebook

Upcoming activities/ HW: backward counting 20-0 to be written in a notebook

Students did an activity to understand the preposition

Formative assessment done on r blends and digraphs

Magic of the letter “e” done in class to understand the change in a sound of a

CVC word upon addition of the letter “e”

Activities done this week: دو حرفی الفاظ  الف اور الف مد کے ساتھ لکھا گیا اور

اُردو کی گنتی ۱ سے ۱۵ تک لکھا گیا۔

Upcoming activities/ HW: الفاظ کو پڑھتے ہوئے  ان سے آنے والی تصاویر سے جوڑ ملائیے

اورحروف سے دو حرفی الفاظ کو پہچان کربتائیے گئے طریقے سے ان

الفاظ کو  رنگوں کا استعمال کر کےدائرہ لگائیے, اُردو کے (ہندسے) گنتی ۱ ۔۱۰ تک لکھئے,

’’ د ‘‘ اور ’’ ر‘‘ کے ساتھ دو حرفی الفاظ لکھئےمثلا : دو, رس وغیرہ۔
