Activities done this week :As the inquiry is in the finding out stage the learner profile attribute inquirer was mainly focused this week too.

Activities done this week: The students were  able to identify the different sounds in their “

surroundings and relate them to loud and soft,they understood the importance and use  of sense “Smell”,recapitulation of previous learning of the senses and their respective organs was done and the students was assessed on their understanding of their senses and  their sense organs.

Activities done this week:حروف تہجی ا سے ت تک کے حروف کا اعراب کے ساتھ اعادہ کیا گیا اور حرف ٹ, ث کو  اعراب کے ساتھ پڑھا اور ان سے آنے والے اشیاء کے ناموں کوسکھا۔ ان کے اعلاوہ طلباء نے آگے آکر کہانی سنائی۔

CENTRAL IDEA:-  Through play we express our feelings and ideas and come to new understanding.

Activities done this week:  Students took part in different games like bear walk in net tunnel and slidings.

What type of games you played in your childhood and fill the worksheet and send back.

Activities done this week: Introduction of letter ‘B’ ‘b’ with related pictures/flashcards.

Upcoming activities/ HW : Letter C will be introduced/make your child practice ‘A’ ‘a’/ ‘B’ ‘b’.

Complete the worksheet given and send pictures related to letter ‘B’.

Activities done this week:   Oral counting of numbers 1-10 was done using objects. Introduction of number 2 with written in firefly books.

Upcoming activities/ HW : Introduction of number 3 will be done with related activities.

Make child practice 1 and 2.

Activities done this week: 1.Students enjoyed doing “squish painting”.

2. Shape “circle” was introduced and the students were asked to inquire about the objects which are in circle shape. Students did free hand drawing keeping in mind the objects which are in circle shape.

You are requested that who did not submitted the activity of maruti arts competition should submit it by monday. After monday no set of work will be accepted. And thank you for those who submitted already.

Activities done this week:  Students were given free play and observed during the play.

Upcoming activities / HW:Students will be given different playing equipments and allow to try new games .(courageous learner profile will be focused)

• Students did FA-2 on LOI-2 (How and why role models are chosen).
• Students were introduced to LOI -3. They watched a video about Hitler and APJ Abdul Kalam to identify the positive and negative impact of a role models on the society.
• Students did group activity using concentric circles on chart. They chose one of the famous personality and answer the following questions: 1. Who is that personality? 2. What are the positive and negative impact on the society? 3. What are the qualities of that person? 4. Influence of the personality you chose.
• Students prepared for FA-3 on LOI-3

Upcoming activities/ HW: Summative assessment on role models will be conducted on Monday 24th July, 2018. Your child Roll No:1-12 has to identify any role model from their family or famous personality and dress up like their role model and present it in the class by following questions:

1. Who is your role model?
2. Reason for choosing the role models?
3. What are the characteristics of role model?
4. How does your role model influence and support you?

Activities done this week:  

Grammar: Students recapitulated about collective nouns and wrote various collectives nouns and learnt how to use them in sentences.

Writing: Students learnt about the writing process and draft about their biographies referring to UOI inquiry work and did the editing using the CUPS strategy.

Listening & Speaking: Students listen and read aloud about their acrostic poems written on TEACHER and MOTHER and make their own rhythm.

Upcoming activities/ HW: Write an acrostic poem on ROLE MODEL.
