Weekly lesson report PP 2 C

Weekly lesson report: 35   Date: 3-03-19 to 8-03-19              Class: PP 2 C         
                     
Subject: Learner Profile            
Activities done this week:
The learner profile attributes we focused this week are reflective and
courageous and communicator  as the students dressed up as story characters and narrated stories as their summative assessment.  They expressed and shared their emotions and feelings regarding the different stories, characters and the various situations for the assessments.

Activities done this week : . Summative Assessments was conducted.The  students narrated stories and dressed up as story characters for their summative assessment task.  They identified and related the varied emotions felt by the story characters in different situations accordingly.

Subject: Math
Activities done this week: Students understood  the concept of adding two groups of objects . They were involved in understanding the concept of addition by adding two groups of manipulatives. They counted  two groups of manipulatives altogether to find out the total.Students were engaged in writing and repeating the definition of addition in their notebooks.

Subject: English
Activities done this week:Students understood and identified the difference between the usage of  'This' and 'That'. Students were engaged in writing and repeating the definition of the usage of 'This' and 'That to  apprehend the concept of the same.' Students wrote 'This' and 'That 'sentences in their notebooks thereby relating the concept of near and far in relation to 'This' and 'That'.

Revision for SA started.Oral number name 2-two was introduced

place value in tens will be recapitulated
with related activities followed by written work

Karadi Path: Students did action commands and

  • unfolded the central idea with the help of the teacher.
  • brainstormed the unit vocabulary
  • differentiated between the living things and non-living things in group activity and listed the characteristics as an acrostic of (Mrs. Gren)

  • identified the function of different hands of the clock through time rhyme
  • differentiated between analog and digital clocks
  • pasted full circle and folded it to understand half and quarter
  • students drew both analog and digital clocks in their notebooks along with skip counting of 5 to learn to tell time to minutes
  • completed the clock activities in firefly workbook
