The LEARNER PROFILE ATTRIBUTE that was explained this week was being COURAGEOUS.
It means to be brave and confident to learn new things. It was a great to see the children being
little inquirers putting on their thinking caps by making the flow chart of the new them, classifying
and grouping animals on their own understanding, and also getting enthusiastic to find out more
about their new topic Adaptation. They even reflected their action and its consequences towards
their environment.

It was a great pleasure to see the students enjoying the activities in class. The LEARNER

CENTRAL IDEA:- Living things are affected by and adapt to the natural world.

Pre-assessment:- STAND ALONE
1.Students were introduced to the new topic by showing videos.
2.Tuning in activity with different classification of animals
3.Animal diet chart done through flip activity .
4.Students did group discussion on Animals and their Habitats.
5.Students were explained the different characteristics of Habitats.

1.Students will create their own animal to suit a novel habitat and explain“how the
adaptation helps the living thing survive”
