The LEARNER PROFILE ATTRIBUTE that was explained this week was being inquirers, It was great to see the children being little inquirers and gaining knowledge by showing enthusiasm to know and learn, sort, go further and get curious for their topic Landforms by asking questions and showing keenness to learn different landforms and how they are formed and the differences between them.
Upcoming activities / HW:
It was great pleasure to see the students enjoying the activities in class. The LEARNER PROFILE ATTRIBUTE that we will be focussing next week is being inquirers as we move ahead with the topic and children become more keen to learn about LANDFORMS and find how different landforms were formed in different ways and the differences between them. Please help them in their inquiry work. Thank you!

CENTRAL IDEA:- The Earth’s physical geography has an impact on human interactions and settlements.
LINES OF INQUIRY:-
- Variability of physical geography around the world - Form
- The relationship between location & settlement - Connection
- Impact of human interaction on the human environment - Causation
LEARNING ENGAGEMENTS:
Sorting Out:-
- Students did revised LOI-1.
- Made connection in relationship to settlements with different physical features in form of table and mindmaps.
- States and capital of India was done as recapitulation.

- Learn the capitals and states of India for quiz.
- Please revise LOI-2 done for assessment on Wednesday.

LARGE NUMBERS:-
- Learnt 2 & 3 times tables and did quiz on it.
- Students did subtraction with place value, expanded form and number names with 2 & 3 digit addition.
- Mental math with Ten Quick Questions.
SHAPES:-
1. Students revised with vertices, edges & faces

Events:
Passed: Grandparents day was celebrated on(6-9-2018=>Thursday), children sang songs and played games with the grandparents and enjoyed a lot. We thank Shafaat Minsaria, Shabbir & Syed Hyder Hussain’s grandparents for taking the pain & joining us to make this event a memorable one
