Activities done this week: The learner profile attributes covered this week were caring and open-minded as the children celebrated Teachers day and Grandparents day.
Upcoming activities / HW: Students will practice being “reflective” as they will take assessments in the coming and reflect on their learning.

Activities done this week:
- Students shared the inquiry homework they did on given festivals.
- They watched videos about teachers day and prepared greeting cards
- Children went to Old Age home to celebrate Grandparents day after celebrating it with their own grandparents in school. Students gave gifts to residents of old age home, listened to their experiences and played games with them.
- Field trip reflection was done by answering important questions about Trip to Old Age home.

Activities done this week:
- Children identified the addition sign “+” and different terms that relate to addition e.g., plus, how many altogether, sum and total.
- Students learned addition by the method “say it, make it and write it” and used blocks to make addition sums.
- They used the count and add method to complete given pages in firefly workbook
- Students also learned to add sums by the strategy “bigger number on your mind and smaller on your fingers. They practiced related sums in firefly workbook
- addition using number line done.
Upcoming activities/ HW: Homework given in firefly workbook pgs 46, 48 and 50. Please get your child practice for the upcoming summative assessment.

Activities done this week: Students revised L blends and learned to read R blends. Short comprehension passage was written in notebooks and multiple choice questions done on the same.
Upcoming activities/ HW: Complete the homework worksheet sent (covering topics of assessment) and comprehension passage sent in the notebook.
