Subject: Unit Of Inquiry

Topic: Ancient Civilisation

Lines of Inquiry:

• Characteristics of civilisations and societies
• Connections between past and present

• Process involved in collecting, analysing and validating evidences.

Activities done this week:

• Students wrote in brief about Mesopotamian civilisation.
• Students field trip to Salar Jung Museum and Cenetary Museum was planned.
• Students observed the ancient artifacts and jot down the points in their UOI books.
• Students wrote in brief about Inca civilisation.
• A Comprehension passage with questions on Indus and Harappan civilisation was given.
• Students pointed different civilisations on the world map.

Upcoming activities/ HW:

• Students will start with their second line of inquiry.
• Complete the answers of the questions given in comprehension passage.
• An inquiry on LOI 2 to be done.

Subject: Math

Activities done this week:

• Students practised LCM by division method.
• An introduction to Divisibility rules was given.
• Divisibility rules of 2 , 5 and 10 was derived by the students.
• Students were able to identify the divisibility rule of the given number.

• An introduction to fractions will be given using objects.
• Learn the divisibility rules given in the class work.
• Divisibility rules H.W given in C.W

• Students practiced adverbs and made sentence out of it.
• A book review of Eric Carle  book was done.
• Novel reading of Charlotte web was done in class.
• Student wrote picture composition.

Do an inquiry on LOI 2 and write the Story on connection between past and present.

Activities done this week: اردو زبان اور ہندی زبان دونوں کے طلاب کو ایک ساتھ کلاس لیا گیا جس میں” کتے “ پر  مضون نگاری کی طرف بچوں کو مائل کیا گیا تاکہ ان کی تحریری صلاحیت کا اندازہ ہو سکے اس کے لئے ایک مضمون پہلے لکھواکر اسے مشق کے لَے کہا کیا بعد میں اس کو بطور املا لکھوایا گیا ۔ اکثر بچے جنہوں نے مشق کیا تھا وہ اچھا لکھ سکے باقی بچے جنہوں نے مشق نہیں کیا وہ وہ نہ لکھ سکے

Upcoming activities/ HW:    جو بھی کام دیا جاتا ہے اسے وقت پر کریں اور خاص کر املا  پر دھیا ن دیں ۔ والدیں اپنے بچوں کو املا کی طرف راغب کریں
