Students were Inquirer this week. They developed their natural curiosity, and acquired the skills necessary to conduct inquiry and research to show independence in learning. They actively enjoyed learning and this love of learning will be sustained throughout their lives.

Students met their mentors and were engage in an in-depth collaborative inquiry into their issues that affect global warming.

Formulas for area and perimeter were recapitulate.
Word problems based on area and perimeter were continued.

Grammar:
Subject and predicate was recapitulate.
Dependent and Independent clauses followed by Compound Sentences was done.
Students converted simple sentences to compound sentences using coordinating conjunctions.
Reading:
Students did novel study ‘ Out of My Mind’
The Poem ‘Coat of Many Colours’ by Dolly Parton was read in detail followed by an activity “Word, Phrase, and Sentence”
Writing:
Journal writing was done
students wrote a paragraph using compound sentences
Listening and speaking: Various activities were done to strengthen speaking skills in students. JAM sessions were done on exhibition topics.
Upcoming activities/ HW:
Revise the rules to frame compound sentences and write 7 sentences for each coordinating conjunction.

Activities done this week: اردو زبان اور ہندی زبان دونوں کے طلاب کو ایک ساتھ کلاس لیا گیا جس میں مضون نگاری کی طرف بچوں کو مائل کیا گیا تاکہ ان کی تحریری صلاحیت کا اندازہ ہو سکے اس کے لئے ایک مضمون پہلے لکھواکر اسے مشق کے لَے کہا کیا بعد میں اس کو بطور املا لکھوایا گیا ۔ اکثر بچے جنہوں نے مشق کیا تھا وہ اچھا لکھ سکے باقی بچے جنہوں نے مشق نہیں کیا وہ وہ نہ لکھ سکے
Upcoming activities/ HW: جو بھی کام دیا جاتا ہے اسے وقت پر کریں اور خاص کر املا پر دھیا ن دیں ۔ والدیں اپنے بچوں کو املا کی طرف راغب کریں
