Activities done this week:IB Learner Attribute communicator was

focused to develop communication skills.

Upcoming activities / HW: IB Learner Attribute reflection would be

focused to reflect on various advertisements to identify the biased news.

Subject: Unit Of Inquiry

Topic: Media

Lines of Inquiry:

● Different forms of media

● The purpose of media

● How media affects our opinion & thinking

● Stereotypes, gender bias

Activities done this week:

Students wrote FA 1 & 2 in question and answer format.

Students identified the advantages and disadvantages on use of internet and wrote them separately according to their opinion and thinking.

Students debate on the topic "Usage of Internet." Also they learnt the rules for debate.

Students were assessed through debate in pair of three and marked the checklist for the components of debate.

Activities done this week:

• Division by grouping method was made to practice
• Division by top and bottom method was introduced
• Multiplication Table High Fives was played in the classroom.

Activities done this week:

Grammar:  

Students wrote about punctuation marks and its usage.

Writing:

Students wrote the elements using graphic organizer. Different words were given

to the to learn and write about their thoughts using the "Show-don't tell" method.

Students made sentences using each word for the five senses.

Reading:  

Students looked at the book cover of Charlotte's Web and wrote their predictions

about the book. They illustrated the front cover in their literature books.
