Subject: Learner’s Profile

Activities done this week          

The LEARNER PROFILE ATTRIBUTE that was explained this week was being BALANCED. It means
to do things in the correct proportion. It was great to see the children being little inquirers putting on
their thinking caps by identifying their needs and wants and also getting enthusiasm to find out more
about their new topic ECONOMICS and its terminology. They even reflected and tried to buy only the
things that they need.

Upcoming activities / HW:
It was a great pleasure to see the students enjoying the activities in class. The  LEARNER PROFILE

TOPIC:-  Economics

CENTRAL IDEA:-  Economic activity relies on systems of production, exchange, and consumption of
goods and services.

LINES OF INQUIRY:-

1. The role of supply and demand - Function(How does it work?)
2. The relationship between location & settlement - Connection(How is it connected to other things?)
3. Our responsibility as a consumer - Responsibility(What is our responsibility?)

3. For deeper understanding quiz was taken on LOI-2, after circle time with books from the library.

   

4. The role and importance of distribution channels, notes were given.LOI-2.

     5.  Students reflected on LOI-2 and completed their F.A-2.

Activities done this week:

LARGE NUMBERS:-

1. Learned 2 & 3 times tables and did a quiz on it.
2. Mental math with Ten Quick Questions.

DATA HANDLING:-

1.  Students practiced tally marks, pictographs and bar graphs and learned to interpret and
answer the questions given.

1.   Task sheet sent to practice tally marks, pictographs and bar graph with the questions given.

READING & WRITING:-   

1. Task cards and follow up activity.
2. Instructional writing is done.

LISTENING & SPEAKING:-

    1. The teacher read out the books from the library on the ongoing UOI topic “Economics”
(circle time activity)

GRAMMAR:-  

1. Practice work for pronouns done.
2. Sparkling pronouns activity was done.

SPELL DRILL:-

1. Unjumble words activity with UOI vocabulary words done.
2. Sight word spell quiz was done.

“ Urdu ki pahli kitab “ ka asbaq me tolaba aage badhe jo 5 me tha wo 6 me gaya or jo 2 me tha wo 3
me gaya . iske alawah 2 harfi alfaz par kaam kiya gya. Or jo 8 me tha wo 9 me gaya . sabaq ko
padhkar sunate rahiye or aage badhte rahiye.
