Subject: Learner Profile            

Activities done this week: The learner profile which was focused this week was”principled”

as the students learnt to keep their belongings on its place and be polite to their peers.

This helped students self management skills.

Upcoming activities / HW: Learner profile “Knowledgeable” will be introduced.

Subject: EVS

Activities done this week: 1. Topic “fruits” were introduced to the students through flash cards,

images on tv and fruit toys.

2. Students learnt about different fruits and seeds they have.

3. Students played with fruit puzzles, flash cards and toys.

4. Students enjoyed paper tearing activity and pasted in the fruits image to make a collage.

This helped students develop cognitive, sensory, fine motor, gross motor and social skills.

Upcoming activities/ HW: Help your child in identifying the fruits and match with the same.

Subject: Math

Activities done this week: 1. Numbers “5 & 6” were introduced through karadi path.

Number song from karadi was recited.

One dark cloud, two rain drops ( The rhymes and stories can be found in the given
karadi path cds).

2.Recapitulation of pre mathematical concepts

3. Students learnt new pre mathematical concept “few-many  through hands on activities.

This helped students develop pre math skills, cognitive skills and listening, speaking skills.

Upcoming activities/ HW:

1. Worksheet given for pre mathematical concepts.

Subject: English

Activities done this week: 1.Karadi path session”5 and 6” was held.
( The rhymes and stories for the sessions which were done in the class
can be found in the given karadi path cds).

This helped students develop vocabulary, listening, communicating skills
and motor skills.

Students did tracing in karadi tarjani book.

2. Recapitulation of strokes.

3. Curves were introduced.

4. Students watched and recited many rhymes. And “ABCD” song with phonics was recited.

Upcoming activities/ HW: 1. Letters will be introduced.
1. Help your child in pasting any material to make curves (worksheet given).

Subject: Arts

Activities done this week:Students did sponge printing in outline mango picture.

Upcoming activities/ HW: Students will make sliced watermelon with paper plate.

Subject: Music

Activities done this week: Rhymes related to fruits were recited.

Upcoming activities/ HW: More rhymes will be recited.

Subject: P.E-

Activities done this week: 1. Students did balancing on a ladder.

2. Students enjoyed playing with blocks and beads.

This helped students develop social skills, locomotor skills and gross motor skills.

Dear Parents,

Greetings!!!

We are glad to inform you that the tiny toddlers of nursery are going to celebrate
“fruits day” on 4 September 2018(Tuesday).The objective behind this is that students
recognize and develop love for eating fruits. The students will share and speak about
their favorite fruit. You are requested to send fruits.
