Subject: Learner Profile            

Activities done this week:  Students were given free play and observed during the play.

Upcoming activities / HW:Students will be given different playing equipments and allow to try new games .(courageous learner profile will be focused)

Subject: Unit Of)Inquiry

THEME:-   How we express ourselves

TOPIC:-  Playing is fun

CENTRAL IDEA:-  Through play we express our feelings and ideas and come to new understanding

LINES OF INQUIRY:-

• The role of toys in play

Activities done this week:Students were shown the videos related to the different games played in olden days and inquired what difference they notice.

Upcoming activities/ HW: Dear parents and grandparents please discuss with your child the games you play in your childhood and fill the worksheet given for HW.

Subject: English

Activities done this week: Introduction of letter 'Bb' was done with related objects

Upcoming activities/ HW: Letter 'Cc' will be introduced.Make your child practice letter ‘Aa’ ‘Bb’.Help your child  to complete the worksheet given.Please send pictures of objects related to letter B.

Subject: Math

Activities done this week:Oral practice of numbers 1-10 was done. Recap of number 1 was done.Number 2 was introduced followed by written work in firefly.

Upcoming activities/ HW : Introduction of number 3 will be done with related activities. Make your child practice number 1 & 2 .

Subject: Art

Activities done this week: 1.Students enjoyed doing “squish painting”.

2. Shape “circle” was introduced and the students were asked to inquire about the objects which are in circle shape. Students did free hand drawing keeping in mind the objects which are in circle shape.

Upcoming activities/ HW: 1. Students will learn the basic and common patterns of arts.

Note: Dear parents,

You are requested that who did not submitted the activity of maruti arts competition should submit it by monday. After monday no set of work will be accepted. And thank you for those who submitted already.

Activities done this week: Students enjoy singing rhymes .They played the casio with the help of the teacher.  

Upcoming activities/ HW. Students will enjoy new rhymes with Casio.

Subject: P.E

Activities done this week:.Students were given  free play in PE room where new equipments were installed  and observe how courageously they play and try the new game.

Upcoming activities/ HW: Students will be given free play and observed during the play how they wait for their turn and follow essential agreements.
