Activities done this week:
Students were Inquirer this week. They developed their natural curiosity, and acquired the skills necessary to conduct inquiry and research to show independence in learning. They actively enjoyed learning and this love of learning will be sustained throughout their lives.
Upcoming activities / HW: Students will be Knowledgeable next week. They will develop and use conceptual understanding and explore knowledge across a range of disciplines. Students will engage with issues and ideas that have local and global significance

Activities done this week:
Finding Out:
- Students compared similarities and differences between Human and Robot using a Venn Diagram.
- Students identified the qualities of living and nonliving things and sorted them.
- Students drew an outline of the human body and then drew a few organs they knew from prior knowledge. They then spoke about the body systems associated with each organ.
- Students made a KWL chart and wrote about topics they would like to know about in this unit.
Upcoming activities/ HW: Identify any 3 organs in your body and the system associated with it.

- Students practiced different types of patterns.
- Shape pattern, number pattern, symmetry and mirror image.

Activities done this week:
Speaking: Various activities were done to strengthen speaking skills in students.
Reading: Students did a novel study on ‘Out of my Mind’ and empathised with the characters.
Grammar: Figures of Speech was introduced.
Writing: Students wrote a journal entry. Leveled task cards were assigned to students to check their comprehension skills. Students enhanced their spelling using phonics strategy.
