Subject: Learner Profile            

Activities done this week: The learner profile attributes focused upon

this week were ‘Inquirer’.

Upcoming activities / HW:

Subject: Unit Of Inquiry

Lines of Inquiry:

• Means of transportation ( on land, in the air, in water)
• Development of the forms of transportation means through time.
• Importance of transportation in our life.

Activities done this week: Students watched a video on an invention of the

 wheel and identified reasons why the wheel was invented.

Students were read the books on transport and shared in groups.

Students were understand the Central Idea and write in the notebook

and they wrote unit vocabulary in their notebooks. Students were

created a mind map of means of transport in a notebook.

Upcoming activities/ HW: HW worksheet given.

Subject: Math

Activities done this week: Students were done a Formative assessment on

odd/even numbers & skip counting in the class. Backward counting

from 20-0 done in Firefly. Students were practised two digit

additions numbers ( without borrowing) in a notebook.

Upcoming activities/ HW:  HW given in notebook.

Subject: English

Activities done this week:  Students were done a Formative assessment

on Verbs, jumbled sentences and articles. Story conducted in class

to introduce positional vocabulary. Different  activities done to

introduce prepositions and definition and they write sentences

in a notebook using correct prepositions.

Upcoming activities/ HW:  Write 5 words beginning using 2 R blends

and 2 Digraphs for each of them.
