this week was knowledgeable.

Theme: How the world works
Title: Air
Central idea: understanding the properties of air allows people to make
practical applications.
Concepts: form, connection, reflection
Lines of inquiry:
· The evidence of the existence of air
· What air can do and how we use it
· The relationship between air, light and sound
Activities done this week: Students brainstormed and did breakup of
central idea, were introduced to the unit vocabulary, wrote unit related text
in the form of question and answers.
Subject: Math
Activities done this week: Students demonstrated their understanding about
calendar and the concept of time in the assessment, were introduced to odd
& even numbers through the story Steven Even & Todd Odd and did the
related activities, were introduced to subtraction with borrowing, made a
G.O of subtraction vocabulary.

Listening & Speaking: Students listened to the stories
in the read aloud sessions.
Reading: Read self selected stories in magic pot and story books.
Writing: Students did matching and fill in the blanks activity related to
preposition of time, demonstrated their understanding about preposition
& helping verbs in the assessment, were introduced to compound words.
