Subject: Learner Profile            

Activities done this week: : The learner profile attributes we focused this week  are inquirer and knowledgeable as we will do inquiry on public places and will know about their different characteristics.

Subject: Unit Of Inquiry

Activities done this week : The students were engaged in understanding and associating the various characteristics to the different public spaces through a provocative and an interactive classroom discussion. The teacher used  the different public spaces models made by the students to make the session more comprehensible and retain-able.

Subject: Math

Activities done this week:  The students were  engaged in strengthening their understanding of the concept of Patterns and their functions using different strategies. They did activities involving extension of patterns and also created their own patterns.

The students were also involved in strengthening their skip counting by 2s skills by predicting and reciting numbers through skip counting by 2s technique followed by a follow up worksheet.

Upcoming activities/ H W: Math worksheet of skip counting by 2s.

Subject: English

Activities done this week: The students were engaged in reading and writing words with digraph 'wh' , ‘th’ , ‘ph’ thereby enhancing their  vocabulary skills and strengthening their reading skills. They also watched demonstrative videos of the digraphs ( ch , wh , sh , th , ph ) to make the learning more retain-able. The students read and wrote cvc words with 'i ' vowel using fire fly books there by enhancing their reading writing skills and vocabulary skills.
