Subject: Learner Profile            

Activities done this week: students were “reflective” this week as they selected their favorite worksheets for their portfolio and critical “thinkers” as they completed student reflection sheet on the previous topic.

Subject: Unit Of Inquiry

Theme: Where we are in place and time

Title: Homes

Central Idea: People build homes in different places and different ways

Lines of Inquiry:

• what constitutes a home
• how  homes differ from one region to another
• materials used in housing construction

Activities done this week:

• Student reflection sheet completed by students
• KWL sheet completed
• Tuning In to the unit done by reading out student location on the map
• Title and central idea of unit written in the notebook
• Unit Vocabulary is written in the notebook

Upcoming activities/ HW: Holiday homework worksheet is given

Subject: Math

Activities done this week:

• Odd and Even numbers introduced through games, making pairs
• Difference between Odd and even written in the notebook
• Students wrote numbers between 1-50 and circled even numbers
• Students taught to look for the last digit in any number to identify whether a number is odd or even.
• Students did mental math question on the whiteboard in the form of a game.

Upcoming activities/ HW: Homework worksheets are given and number names 1-50 to be written in notebooks

Subject: English

Activities done this week:  

Students learned the meaning of articles and the usage of articles through examples. They wrote the definition in the notebook. Sentences were written in notebooks and students were asked to select the correct articles.

15 sight words were written in the notebook

Karadipath: Students read new sight words, cluster sentences and listened to dialogues while reading the story “Just one paisa” followed by drama practice in Session 22.

Upcoming activities/ HW: 2 homework worksheets given and homework is given in Spell drill and grammar notebooks.

Activities done this week:  حروف علت الف ’’ ا ‘‘ , ’’ و ‘‘, ’’ ی‘, ’’ ے ‘‘ کا اعادہ کیا گیا اور حروف علت

’’ا‘‘ کے ساتھ حروف تہجی ’’ ا ‘‘ سے ’’ ش ‘‘ تک لکھا گیا جیسے با, پا, تا, ٹا, سے شا تک پڑھتے ہوئے لکھا گیا۔

Upcoming activities/ HW:   تصاویر کو پہچان کر ان کا پہلا مرکب حروف پر دائرہ لگائیےاور تصاویر میں

رنگ بھرئیے۔ اردو کی نظم پڑھے۔
