Subject: Learner Profile            

Activities done this week: The learner profile focus for the week was Reflective. Reflective people give thoughtful consideration to their own learning and personal development. They are able to analyze their strengths and weaknesses in a constructive manner.

Upcoming activities / HW:Students will continue to be Inquirer this week. They will develop their natural curiosity, and acquire the skills necessary to conduct inquiry and research to show independence in learning. They actively enjoy learning and this love of learning will be sustained throughout their lives.

Activities done this week:

TRANSDISCIPLINARY THEME - How the world works.

Central idea:  Energy may be converted, transformed and used to support human progress.

Lines of inquiry:

• Different forms of energy sources (renewable and non-renewable)
• How energy is used (transformation)
• Sustainable energy practices

Taking Action

• Students postcards were discussed in detail

• Summative Assessment was conducted based on the three lines of inquiry.
• 4 Corner reflection was done on the unit.

• Plotting of Bar graph with important instructions was explained.
• Students were made to practice Bar graph keeping in mind all important points in mind.

Circle time was done. Students played snowball activity, and spoke about an object for one minute.

An energiser was used for enhancing

students listening and reflexive skills.
