Subject: Learner Profile            

Activities done this week: The learner profile attributes concentrated upon this week were “open-minded” as they learned the features of different festivals and “reflective” as they appeared for Hindi SA and learned to check their work once done especially addition sums

Activities done this week:

FA1 on first line of inquiry was conducted.

Students wrote similarities and differences between 2 festivals in their notebooks.

Upcoming activities/ HW: FA2 on the second line of inquiry will be conducted on 25th September 2018, Tuesday and FA3 on the third line of inquiry will be conducted on 28th September 2018, Friday.

Subject: Math

Activities done this week:

• Students did statement sums on addition.
• Children used the data on celebration pictograph (chart with favorite celebrations of class) to put tally marks and create a bar graph.
• Mental math was done in class wherein the questions were read out and students had to draw the objects and write their answers.

Complete the bar graph homework given in notebook

Subject: English

Activities done this week:  

Students synthesized rhyming words through the story about Sanskrit poet “Kabeer”. They wrote a short story in their notebooks and circled rhyming words.

Children read R blend words given in a box and plotted a graph showing the number of each type of blend present.

Karadipath: Students learned sight words and sentences and listened to the story “just one paisa” focussing on voice modulation and participated in conversation practice in Session 20.

Upcoming activities/ HW: Complete the R blends homework worksheet given.
