Upcoming activities / HW: Students will be Inquirers next week. They developed their natural
curiosity, and acquired the skills necessary to conduct inquiry and research to show independence
in learning. They actively enjoyed learning and this love of learning will be sustained throughout their

Central idea: Energy may be converted, transformed and used to support human progress.

- Different forms of energy sources (renewable and non-renewable)
- How energy is used (transformation)
- Sustainable energy practices
Tuning In:
- Jigsaw Reading was done. Students were given resources on sources of energy.
- They made points based on the same and shared their understanding with their peers.
- Based on their understanding on various sources of energy, students did a PMI activity.
- Students read books from the library and noted points on a chart based on their understanding.
- This was followed by a class discussion.

Make a model on any one form of energy.

- The students were made to practise to Word Problems based on Multiplication and Division.
- The students were able to read , analyse and solve the problem by themselves.
- Abacus was also made to practise.

Students will be made to solve word problems using all four operations and DMAS will be practised.

Speaking: Various activities were done to strengthen speaking skills in students. Students discussed
various sources of energy and how energy must be conserved.

Writing: Leveled task cards were assigned to students to check their comprehension skills.
Students wrote a journal entry about an imaginative incidence.
