Activities done this week: The learner profile attribute we focused this
Week was knowledgeable. Students watched videos and read some text about
the topic and became knowledgeable.
Upcoming activities / HW: Encourage your child to read books at home that
correspond with the topics being covered in school.
The learner profile attribute ‘ Balanced will be focused next week.
Students who are BALANCED are healthy and are aware that eating properly
and exercising is important in their lives.
o Encourage your child to participate in a wide variety of structured activities
like drawing, reading, exercise and play.

Activities done this week: Students inquired about the major food groups and
their functions.
Upcoming activities/ HW:
- Discuss the food groups with your parents. Spend a few minutes
during a mealtime deciding if what your family is eating is balanced.
- On a disposal plate make a healthy food plate.
- Bring pictures of various food items.

Activities done this week: Students strengthened their understanding about
the
concept of carry over numbers in addition by practice.
Upcoming activities/ HW: Practise addition with carry over numbers.

Listening & Speaking: Students listened to the stories
in the read aloud sessions.
Reading: Read self selected stories in magic pot and story books.
