Subject: Unit Of Inquiry

Topic: Ancient Civilisation

Lines of Inquiry:

• Characteristics of civilisations and societies
• Connections between past and present
• Process involved in collecting, analysing and validating evidences.

Activities done this week:

• An inquiry activity of different civilisation was done in the class in groups.
• Students were given notes on Roman and Chinese civilisation.
• Students wrote in brief about the government,  religion and writing of the given civilization.
• A video on Roman and Chinese civilization was shown to the students.
• 

Upcoming activities/ HW:

• Learn about the different types of civilisation done .
• Paste the pictures of the related monuments given for each civilisation.

Subject: Math

Activities done this week:

• Students were introduced with Least Common Multiple (LCM)
• Students practiced finding of LCM using Venn Diagram
• Students also practiced Finding LCM by Prime Factorisation Division method

Problems based on finding LCM given to the students in C.W

• Students learned about Adverbs and they made their own sentences using adverbs .

Activities done this week: نقل کے طور پر “ تہذیب “  کے اوپر مضمون نگاری کرتے ہوئے لکھا گیا اس کے علاوہ “ املا “ کے طور پر بہت سے الفاظ کو مختلف زمروں میں بانٹتے ہوئے تحریر کیا گیا۔

Dear Parents,

This is to inform you that, in relation to the ongoing unit, ‘Civilization’ C4 will be going on a field trip on Tuesday, 5 Feb 2019 to Centenary Heritage Museum and Salarjung Museum to enhance their understanding.                                                                                

We request you to send the child in proper school uniform with UOI book and dry snacks and lunch. Regular school timings will be followed.
