Subject: Learner Profile            

Activities done this week:The learner profile which was focused this week was

“Communicator” as the students spoke about the soft toy(animal) that they bought.

Upcoming activities / HW:

Subject: EVS

Activities done this week: 1. As “Animals” unit is going on, students participated in the activity

“Think, pair and share”. Students spoke few sentences about the animals(soft toy) that they

brought to the school.

2. Students learnt about pet animals and wild animals. They learnt the difference between

pet and wild animals.

3. Students were asked which animals can be kept at home and which animals cannot be

kept at home.

This helped students develop communication and cognitive skills.

Upcoming activities/ HW:   Help your child learning more animals through

stories or books.

Subject: Math

Activities done this week:

1. Oral counting from 1-15 was done.

4. Students recited the number rhymes.

5.Students recapitulated pre mathematical concepts.

They learnt new pre mathematical concept “same & different”.

This helped students develop early math skills, spatial awareness about the

pre mathematical concepts.

Subject: English

Activities done this week: 1.Students recited the “ABCD” song using sound modules and actions.

2. Action commands in karadi were taken: Fly like a butterfly, hop like a rabbit, jump

like a monkey.

3. Students recapitulated lower case letters with their phonics and with their related

objects and they did tracing in tarjani book.

4. Letter “Pp” was introduced along with the objects.

5.We are focussing on lower case letters with phonics and objects.

This helped the students develop early reading, social, language, cognitive, fine motor skills,

communication skills & gross motor skills.

Upcoming activities/ HW: Make your child practice the lower case letter

with phonics and its related pictures.

Activities done this week:

1. Students enjoyed various rhymes related to the animals like:

• Bhaloo pakad ne jayenge
• Two little dicky birds
• Rabbit rabbit 123
• Jungle me jaanwar khelte hai
• Haathi raja kaha chale
• Bandar mama
• Five little monkeys.

This helped students develop language and communication skills.

Activities done this week: 1. Students did exercises through a rhyme “Walrus action song”.

2. Students had a free play.

3. Students did practice for their upcoming sports week.

4. Students did paper tearing activity and paper cutting activity which helped in developing

their fine motor skills.

5. Students did scribbling with pencils, crayons and chalks in the magic pots and on the slate.

This helped students develop fine motor and gross motor and physical gross motors skills.
