Activities done this week:
Students were Knowledgeable this week. They developed and used conceptual understanding and explored knowledge across a range of disciplines. Students were engaged with issues and ideas that have local and global significance.
Upcoming activities / HW:
The learner profile that will be focused next week is Reflective. Students will give thoughtful consideration to their own learning and personal development. They will be able to analyze their strengths and weaknesses in a constructive manner.

TRANSDISCIPLINARY THEME - Who We Are
Central idea: The effective interactions between human body systems contribute to health and survival
Lines of inquiry:
● Body systems and how they work
● How body systems are interdependent
● Impact of lifestyle choices on the body
Activities done this week:
Students made a table of unhealthy and healthy life choices like eating healthy, drinking enough water, exercising and maintaining hygiene.
Students learned 10 ways to read food labels.
Students watched a video on healthy eating habits followed by a class discussion.
Students watched videos on eating disorders: like overeating and undereating.
Upcoming activities/ HW: SA will be conducted on Monday. Come prepared in all 3 Lines of Inquiry.

Students were made to draw polygons on an isometric sheet.
An introduction to Area and Perimeter was given.
Students were made to find the area and perimeter of regular and irregular shapes using a graph sheet.

Find the area and perimeter of the given shapes on graph paper.

Speaking: Various activities were done to strengthen speaking skills in students.
Reading: Students did a novel study on ‘Out of my Mind’ and empathised with the characters.
Grammar: Articles and conjunctions were revised.
Writing: Task cards were given. Journal Writing was done.
Upcoming activities/ HW: Learn new vocabulary from UOI notes and come prepared on any one body system for a Just-A-Minute (JAM) session.
