Activities done this week: The learner profile attribute concentrated upon this week was “courageous” as the students participated in different programs for annual day function.

Subject: Unit Of Inquiry

Activities done this week:

• Students drew inferences by reading a text about the development of different means of transport and its effect on the environment through jigsaw reading.
• Children watched videos regarding road safety and traffic rules.
• Students demonstrated their understanding of the third line of inquiry through assessment.

Upcoming activities/ HW: Complete the student and parent reflection sheet sent

Subject: Math

Activities done this week:

• students  solved word problems in their notebooks
• recapitulation of 2d Shapes and the introduction of various polygons (i.e., pentagons, hexagons, heptagons, octagons)  done.
• Students drew their chosen scene using polygons.
  

Upcoming activities/ HW: Practice subtraction problems

Subject: English

Activities done this week:  

• Students wrote words with similar phonemes “a-e, oa, ai, oo, ee” in a group activity
• They also wrote the sight words they learned in spell drill
• Students wrote the “a_e” passage in the notebook and answered questions about it.
