thinking skill about the application of principles in machines.

Topic: Simple Machine

Lines of Inquiry:

• The principles and types of simple and compound machines.
• Inventions which use the principles of simple machines.
• The application of simple machines in our lives.

Activities done this week:

Students wrote notes for blueprints.

Students made working models on one of simple machine.

Students showed the working models and explained its principles.

Students wrote the reflection sheet of the unit “Simple Machine”.

Parent Reflection sheet given.

Next Unit Letter of unit “Ancient Civilisation” given.

• Introduction to factors was given.
• Students were made to practice finding out factors of a given number.
• Students also practiced to check if the number is a factor of other.
• Introduction to prime number was given through an activity.
