Activities done this week: The learner profile attribute which is focused

this week is ‘communicator’.

Upcoming activities / HW:

Subject: Unit Of Inquiry

Central Idea: Development of means of transport changed the

ability of humans to move about

Lines of Inquiry:

• means of transportation( on land, in air, in water)
• importance of transportation in our life
• development of the forms of transportation means through time

Activities done this week:

• Students went to class -1B for the gallery work from that they got the knowledge for the latest means of transport. (inquiry homework display)
• inferred the development of means of transport and features through time by watching ppt and watched future transport videos
• demonstrated their understanding of the second line of inquiry in their second formative assessment

Upcoming activities/ HW: Find out petrol and non-petrol vehicles and write in a notebook

Subject: Math

Activities done this week:

• Children solved subtraction sums in their firefly notebook
• Students made a mind map of subtraction and learned different terms related to subtraction in wrote in their notebook along with strategies used for subtraction which helped them to solve word problems.

Upcoming activities/ HW:  H.w pg 106 in a firefly notebook

Subject: English

Activities done this week:

• Students recognise the /ai/, /oa/ graphene and were able to sound its phoneme and to segment, blend /ai/, /oa/ for reading and spelling
• Recognize and spell a_e words
• Students did worksheet ai/oo/a-e words in the class.
