Activities done this week: students were active inquirers and good thinkers this week as they asked several questions and gave thoughtful insights while doing new topics in different subjects

Central Idea: People build homes in different places and different ways
Lines of Inquiry:
- what constitutes a home
- how homes differ from one region to another
- materials used in housing construction
Activities done this week:
- Students did an activity to identify and mark statements as true and false, then noted down the same in their notebooks
- After watching a presentation on how and why Flintstone changed homes as per his changing needs, children drew the different homes they saw during the presentation and the illustrated the situations that led to change
- Formative Assessment on LOI 1 done in class in which students prepared a 2D home depicting the different parts of homes
- Students watched three little pigs and drew the homes pigs built along with mentioning the material used for building those homes

- Students revised different shapes and learned the difference between 2D and 3D shapes.
- Students wrote the properties of 2D shapes in their notebooks

· Students wrote a few sentences filling in the blanks with articles and circled verbs
· Students wrote a few questions followed by a short reading comprehension
· Children arranged jumbled
sentences into proper sentences and wrote them in their notebooks.
· “How do dinosaurs clean their rooms?” story was read to the students from which students identified
verbs.
· Spell drill was done
Karadipath : Students learned new action commands, spoken commands, rhyme “to the beach I like to go”, read sight words and did drama practice from the story “Monkey and Crocodile” session 25 and 26
