Subject: Learner Profile            

Activities done this week:The learner profile which was focussed this week was “Caring”

as students were taught how to take care of animals.

Upcoming activities / HW:

Subject: EVS

Activities done this week: 1: Students learnt how to care animals and not harm

them but, to love and help them when needed.

2. Pet, wild and water animals were recapitulated.

3. Students learnt about the food of animals.

This helped students develop communication and cognitive skills.

Upcoming activities/ HW:   Help your child learning more animals through stories or books.

Subject: Math

Activities done this week:

1: Students recapitulated the shapes: circle, square, oval, star, rectangle and triangle.

2. Oral counting from 1-15 was done.

3. Students recited the number rhymes.

4.Students recapitulated pre mathematical concepts.

This helped students develop early math skills, spatial awareness about the

pre mathematical concepts.

Upcoming activities/ HW: Worksheet given

Subject: English

Activities done this week: 1.Students recited the “ABCD” song using sound modules

and actions.

2. Students recapitulated lower case letters with their phonics and with their related objects

and they did tracing in tarjani book.

3. Letter “Rr” was introduced along with the objects.

4.We are focussing on lower case letters with phonics and objects.

This helped the students develop early reading, social, language, cognitive, fine motor skills,

communication skills & gross motor skills.

Upcoming activities/ HW: Make your child practice the lower case letter with phonics and

its related pictures.

Activities done this week:

1. Students enjoyed various rhymes related to the animals like:

• Bhaloo pakad ne jayenge
• Jungle me jaanwar khelte hai
• Incy wincy spider
• Incy wincy makhda
• Mai toh so rahi thi mujhe chidya ne jagaya
• Old macdonald had a farm
• Pussy cat Pussy cat and old rhymes were recited.

This helped students develop language and communication skills.

Subject: P.E-

Activities done this week: 1. Students did exercises through a rhyme “Walrus action song”.

2. Students played with big blocks and tries to sort them out according to the colors.

3. Students tried to join the foam puzzle blocks and from these they made shapes like

circle, square and triangle.

This helped students develop fine motor and gross motor and physical gross motors skills.

Note:

Events: Kids were taken to “Kido Dido” play area at “Narsinghi village,
Rajendra nagar hyd”. This area was full of physical activities with many
swings, rides and PEequipments. This helped students develop their physical gross motor skills.
