Subject: Learner’s Profile

Activities done this week          

The LEARNER PROFILE ATTRIBUTE that was explained this week was being REFLECTIVE. It
means to think about what they have learned and try to get changes. It was great to see the
children being little inquirers putting on their thinking caps by learning about the biomes of the animals, understanding the characteristics of the biomes, connections between humans and the animals of that biomes and also getting enthusiastic to find out more about their topic Adaptation. They even reflected their action and its consequences towards the environment.

Upcoming activities / HW:

It was a great pleasure to see the students enjoying the activities in class. The LEARNER PROFILE

CENTRAL IDEA:-   Living things are affected by and adapt to the natural world.

LINES OF INQUIRY:-  

1. Characteristics of the major habitats/biomes.(Forms=> How is it like?)
2. Physical adaptations and behavioral adaptations that allow an animal to survive in their biome.
3. (Causation=>Why is it like it is?)
4. Connection between animals and the people in those habitats.(Connection=>
5. How is it connected to other things?)

1. Students revised LOI-3.
2. Threats and uses of different animals.
3. Students finished LOI-3(F.A-3) assessment.
4. Students made connections with what they learned and finished their summative assessment.

1. Learned 3 & 4 times tables and did a quiz on it.

1. Addition in the measurement of length with practice sums.
