Activities done this week: Recapitulation of numbers 1- 50 in

sequence was done. Written practice numbers from

 1-50 with place values through different number

activities in the number book. Backward counting,Before After

,Between numbers were done

Upcoming activities/ HW: Numbers through

place value in tens will be recapitulated

with related activities followed by written work

in note book and activity sheets. Comparison of numbers will be introduced.

Activities done this week:  Recapitulation of letter “Aa - Zz” was done

with related objects, Vowels were recapitulate.

CVC words were introduced.Students wrote dictation in CVC words

Karadi Path: Students did action commands and

enjoyed power music and power story followed by

tracing in tarjani. Students completed session 38.

Activities did this week:

The learner profile attributes we focused this week are thinkers and

courageous and communicator as the students created and listened to stories.  They expressed and shared their emotions and feelings regarding the different stories, characters, and various situations.

Subject: Unit Of Inquiry

Activities did this week:.The students were engaged in listening to different stories and analyzing their feelings towards the story characters, situations endings etc.  through interesting storytelling sessions and classroom discussions. They  were engaged in recollecting the   stories they listened to and sort and identify the varied emotions related to the characters and the different situations of the story through an interactive follow up worksheet

. They also revised their learning of story elements through an illustration worksheet.

Activities did this week:  The students were engaged in interpreting and illustrating data information through tally marks in their notebooks. Recapitulation of days of the week was done They learned and wrote ordinal numbers ( 1st to 10th ) in the notebooks. They did various worksheets to strengthen their understanding of the ordinal numbers concept involving different strategies.

Activities did this week: Students were involved in strengthening their reading and comprehending skills by reading short story passages in their notebooks. They understood the difference between verbs and nouns through various strategies. Students were engaged in identifying and differentiating between the nouns and the verbs through a worksheet activity. Students were introduced to adjectives. Wrote a definition in the notebook.

Activities done this week          

The LEARNER PROFILE ATTRIBUTE that was explained this week was being OPEN-MINDED. It means to be receptive about new ideas and things about other people and their beliefs. It was a great to see the children being little inquirers putting on their thinking caps by learning about the characteristics of cultures, understanding them and looking at them through broader perspective,  children were very excited and enthusiastic to find out more about their culture.

Upcoming activities / HW:

It was a great pleasure to see the students enjoying the activities in class. The LEARNER PROFILE ATTRIBUTE that was explained this week was being OPEN-MINDED. It means to be receptive about new ideas and things about other people and their beliefs. CENTRAL IDEA:-   People’s cultural background has an impact on their beliefs, values and actions.

2. How people use different experiences to inform their perspectives.(Perspective=>What are the points of view?)
3. The connections between beliefs and values, and the actions taken in response to them -.(Connection=>How is it connected to other things?)

1. Discussion on beliefs and values LOI-3.
2. Actions in response to the beliefs and values, were discussed.
3. Notes were written in the UOI notebooks.
4. LOI-3 assessment done.
5. Reflected on the topic and completed the reflection sheet.
6. Discussed about summative assessment.
7. Revised the whole unit for recapitulation.
