Topic: Natural Hazard

Lines of Inquiry:

• The different natural disasters.
• Reasons why hazards occur.
• The impact of hazards on the environment.
• Ways in which people cope with hazards.

Activities done this week:

• Summative assessment was conducted on the topic role model.
• Students continued their summative assessment.
• Students reflected about their understanding about the topic role model.
• Students were introduced to the new topic Natural hazards. They brainstormed on the central idea and came up with different types of natural hazards. 
• Students were tuned in by identifying the pictures of different hazards. They observed the given pictures and wrote their views using see-think-wonder activity.

Inquire about the given natural hazard according
to your roll no given in UOI books using the
research outline.

Subject: Math

Activities done this week:  The students were
able to do mental Math questions given to
them. The students were also made to
practise addition of numbers mentally
without using fingers.

Activities done this week:

Grammar: Students were introduced to adjectives
and identified the adjectives in the given
sentences.

Writing: Students continue to learn the writing
process for biography writing. They evaluated
their mistakes using the ARMS strategy.

Listening and Speaking: Students speak about
their role models through the summative
assessment.

Make sentences using adjectives for the given
pictures.
