Subject: Unit Of Inquiry

Topic: Natural Hazard

Lines of Inquiry:

• The different natural disasters.
• Reasons why hazards occur.
• The impact of hazards on the environment.
• Ways in which people cope with hazards.

Activities done this week:

• Summative assessment was conducted on the topic role model.
• Students continued their summative assessment.
• Students reflected about their understanding about the topic role model.
• Students were introduced to the new topic Natural hazards. They brainstormed on the central idea and came up with different types of natural hazards. 
• Students were tuned in by identifying the pictures of different hazards. They observed the given pictures and wrote their views using see-think-wonder activity.

Activities done this week:  

Grammar:

• Students observe the given toy and describe it in their own words using adjectives.
• Students did doughnut activity and played game. They use adjective from the starting alphabet of their name which describe their personality.

Writing: Students continue to learn the writing process for biography writing. They evaluated their mistakes using the ARMS strategy.

Listening and Speaking: Students speak about their role models through the summative assessment.

Make sentences using adjectives for the given pictures.

Activities done this week:  The students were able to do mental Math questions given to them. The students were also made to practice addition of numbers mentally without using fingers.

Activities done this week: اسماعیل میرٹھی کی “ اردو کی پہلی کتاب “ کا دوسرا سبق پڑھایا گیا بعض بچوں نے تیسرا سبق بھی پڑھ لیا اپنے بچے سے پوچھیں کہ انہوں نے کون سا سبق پڑھا اور ان کی حوصلہ افزائی کریں اگلا سبق پڑھنے کے لئَ ۔

Upcoming activities/ HW : پیر کے دن سبق دو کا املا ہوگا تمام والدیں اپنے بچوں کو دوسرا سبق کے تمام الفاظ کی مشق کرائیں اور تیار کرکے بچوں کو بھیجیں ۔
