Subject: Learner Profile             

Activities done this week: The learner profile attribute for this week was communicator,
students understood the types and means of communication.

Upcoming activities / HW: The learner profile attribute  ‘Communicator’ will be focused
next week.

Children who are thinkers work to solve problems independently. They make good
decisions and can predict the outcomes of their actions. They think creatively and
critically.

Encourage your child to try to think of solutions to problems independently.

Pose different real-life problems and questions to your child.

Subject: Unit Of Inquiry

Theme: How we express ourselves

Central idea: A variety of signs and symbols facilitates local and global communication

Concepts: form, function, connection

Lines of inquiry:

• Signs and symbols
• Reasons for the development of communication systems
• Specialised systems of communication

Activities done this week: Students presented their findings about the type of communication
and means of communication, created a timeline about  means of communication, wrote
question and answers about the same, integrated math with the unit by learning roman
numbers.

Upcoming activities/ HW:  Google and find out  the answers for the questions given in the
UOI note book about Morse Code.

Activities done this week:

Students  learnt different  types of pattern and also revised number system.

Students learnt simple addition using abacus.

Revise Number system done till now as  assessment will be taken on Tuesday(24-7-18)

Activities done this week:  

Viewing & Presenting: Students watched  videos on the topic nouns and a few moral
stories.

Listening & Speaking: Students listened to the stories ‘ in the read aloud sessions.

Reading: Read self selected rebus stories in magic pot.

شکلوں کوپڑھا و سکھا گیا اوردئیے گئےحروف کی مدد سے جوڑے ہوئے دو حرفی الفاط بنائےگئے۔                                                                                                                                                          Upcoming activities/ HW: دئیے گئےحروف کی مدد سے جوڑے ہوئےاور بے جوڑے ہوئےدو حرفی الفاط بنائیےاو خالی جگہوں کو صحیح حروف سے پُر کرئیے۔
