Activities done this week: IB Learner Profile Inquirer was focused. learnt to be Inquirers to learn new qualities and emulate it from different personalities.
Upcoming activities / HW:IB Learner Profile Inquirer would be focused. Students will learn to be Inquirers to learn new qualities and emulate it from different personalities.

Unit: Role Model
Lines of inquiry:
• What determines our beliefs and values
• How and why role models are chosen
• Influence of role models on our choices and actions
Activities done this week:
- Students wrote FA-2 using biography graphic organizer about any one famous personality.
- Students were introduced to LOI -3. They watched a video on Hitler and APJ Abdul Kalam to identify the positive and negative impact of role models on the society.
- Students did group activity using concentric circles through chart. They chose one famous personality and answered the following questions: 1. Who is that personality? 2. What are the positive and negative impact on the society? 3. What are the qualities of that person? 4. Influence of the personality.
- Students prepare themselves for FA-3.
- Students wrote FA-3. They wrote about the influence of their role model on their life and actions that they would implement in their life to become like their role model.
Upcoming activities/ HW: Summative assessment on role models will be conducted on Monday 24th July, 2018. Your child Roll No:1-10 has to identify any role model from their family or famous personality and dress up like their role model and present it in the class by following questions:
- Who is your role model?
- Reason for choosing the role models?
- What are the characteristics of role model?
- How does your role model influence and support you?

Activities done this week: The students were able to understand and solve word problems based on Addition and Subtraction.
Upcoming activities/ HW: H.W given C.W. Quiz in table 2 and 4.

Activities done this week:
Grammar: Students recapitulated about collective nouns and wrote various collectives nouns and learnt how to use them in sentences.
Writing: Students learnt about the writing process and draft about their biographies referring to UOI inquiry work and did the editing using the CUPS strategy.
Listening & Speaking: Students listen and read aloud about their acrostic poems written on TEACHER and MOTHER and make their own rhythm.
Upcoming activities/ HW: Write an acrostic poem on ROLE MODEL
