Subject: Learner’s Profile

Activities done this week          

The LEARNER PROFILE ATTRIBUTE that was explained this week was being inquirers, It was great to see the children being little inquirers and gaining knowledge by showing enthusiasm and keenness to know and learn about the topic Arts by asking questions that were posed to them after watching videos and having discussion in class, some even came up with examples.

Upcoming activities / HW:

It was great pleasure to see the  students enjoying the activities in class. The  LEARNER PROFILE ATTRIBUTE that we will be focussing next week is being inquirers as we move ahead with the topic and children become more keen to learn about  ARTS. Please help them in their inquiry work. Thank you!

THEME:-   How we express ourselves

TOPIC:-  The Arts

CENTRAL IDEA:-  The Arts provides us the opportunity to reflect on, extend and enjoy creativity.

LINES OF INQUIRY:-

1. The different forms of Arts - Function
2. How Art is unique and personal - Perspective
3. How communities express themselves using Arts - Connection

LEARNING ENGAGEMENTS:

Finding Out

1. Students did 10 times 2 activity to find out how Arts is unique and personal.
2. To wrap up LOI-2, children finished up with the assessment(F.A-2).
3. Videos were shown to various artworks (cotton swab painting, poster painting activity.)

Subject: Math

Activities done this week:

LARGE NUMBERS:-

1. Rounding of to its  nearest number.
2. Students were asked to make numbers of 2, 3, 4 digits using number cards.
3. Numbers names, expanded form was revised and instilled.
4. Standard form was done.
5. Ascending order & comparing numbers was done with 4 digit numbers.

                                   

PATTERNS:-

1. Practice with repeated and growing patterns done.

1. Rounding of  work sent home.
2. Follow up of ascending order, standard form, expanded form and comparing numbers sent.

READING & WRITING:-   

1. Journal writing.
2. Task cards and follow up activity.

LISTENING & SPEAKING:-

    1. Teacher read out the story book.

GRAMMAR:-  

    1. Assessment on Punctuation  done.

    2. Types of Nouns.

    3. Flower activity on types of noun

SPELL DRILL:-

1. Blends, digraphs and trigraphs.
2. Missing letter activity
3. Jumbled letter activity.
4. Match the broken words.
5. Spell quiz.

Activities done this week: ۔  مفرد اور مرکب حروف والے الفاظ اور جملہ پڑھائے گئے ۲۰ جملہ لکھائے گئے اور پڑھائے گئے اور اس کا اختبار لیا گیا  

Upcoming activities/ HW   جو جملہ کاپی لکھوائے گئے اسے پڑھنے میں بچے کی مدد کریں تاکہ یقین کے ساتھ پڑھنے کی کوشش کریں ۔
