Weekly lesson report: 20             Date: 5th-10th Nov 2018             Class: 1C

Subject: Learner Profile            

Activities done this week: The learner profile attribute which we focused
this  week is open-minded as we celebrated Diwali and  

‘inquirer’ as students inquire about why homes differ from each other.

 

Upcoming activities / HW:  The learner profile attribute will be

focused next week is ‘reflection’

Subject: Unit Of Inquiry

Lines of Inquiry:

• what constitutes a home
• how  homes differ from one region to another
• materials used in housing construction

Activities done this week:  Students brainstorm the reasons

why homes differ from each other
and shared in a group activity. Students wrote question and

answers in their notebook. FA-2: They have done an

assessment to show the reasons why homes differ from

one region to other.Field trip to Shilparamam to learn about

the material used in different homes.

 
 

 

Upcoming activities/ HW:  HW worksheet is given

Subject: Math

Activities done this week: Students were identify different 3D shapes

and write properties of 3D shapes in notebooks.

Students used

different colours clay to show the edges, corners and faces on 3D shapes.

Students did a hands-on activity using pencil box, dice, ball and
drew 2D and 3D shapes.

Upcoming activities/ HW:  Draw or paste the objects related to 3D shapes.

Subject: English

Activities done this week: Students recap the blends and connect

with digraphs. Students brainstorm the words with

(ch, sh, wh, ph, th) and write in the notebook,
Students completed the digraph chart. Students

will be able to execute spoken and action commands,

followed by activity in Karadi path session 24.

Upcoming activities/ HW:  HW same as CW (digraph)

Activities done this week: حروف علت ی کے ساتھ تمام حروف

کو پڑھتے ہوئےلکھا گیا اور

ساتھ ساتھ حروف کی مختصر اشکال کا بھی اعادہ کیا گیا۔

Upcoming activities/ HW:   مرکب حروف بھ سے نھ تک کے
