Activities done this week: This week students focused on being “reflective” as they reflected upon their strengths and weakness to carry out various activities with perfection.

Activities done this week:
Central idea: Awareness of our characteristics, abilities and interests informs our learning and development.

Classroom activities
- Students identified their responsibilities at home and in society
- Students brainstormed and identified their strengths and weakness to do their homework on time.
- Children completed a checklist to find out what they are good at (abilities) and got their parents’ reflection done on the same.
- Formative assessment 3 was conducted on the third line of inquiry wherein students showed their strengths and weakness in order to become a good student
- Summative assessment was conducted wherein students showed their understanding of the unit by completing their portfolios

Activities done this week:
- Data handling was introduced through the chart of student chosen activities done in UOI. Students used tally marks for a number of students under each activity and colored corresponding columns to make bar graph.
- Human graph was done on basis of student birthdays and students answered the questions like Which month has the least birthdays, which month has most birthdays etc
- Students practiced tally marks and numbers 101 - 200 in their notebooks

Upcoming activities/ HW: Complete the revision homework given in notebook (place value, measurement and number names 11-20)

Activities done this week:
- Students were given images of nouns like an elephant, ice cream, teddy bear in groups and they identified related adjectives.
- children defined adjectives and after listening to the story “shepherd and the wolf” identified adjectives from the story.
- Students recalled sight words during spell drill.
- they played adjective surprise game by drawing their favorite noun and describing it with the appropriate adjective and getting their friends to guess the noun.
- Students followed words and sentences related to the reader “Monkeys on fast” in power reader followed by drama activity in power story from Session 5 and practiced actions and directed commands in power action, rhyme “chips and chocolate we love to eat” in power music module from session 6.
Upcoming activities/ HW: Complete the nouns homework sent in the grammar book, L-blends homework in literature notebook and karadi path Journal activity.
