Subject: Learner Profile            

Activities done this week: Students showed their interest and understanding on the learner profile”communicator”.

Upcoming activities / HW:Students will show and focus on the learner profile “caring”.

Subject: Unit Of Inquiry

THEME:-   How we express ourselves

TOPIC:-  Playing is fun

CENTRAL IDEA:-  Through play we express our feelings and ideas and come to new understanding.

LINES OF INQUIRY:-

• Communicating through play
• Imaginative use of materials
• The role of toys in play

Activities done this week:  Students expressed their likes and dislikes about their favourite toys in the circle time. They also played the game “follow the leader”while developing their communication skills.

Upcoming activities/ HW: Students will be given free play with their friends while showing the attribute  of learner profile “Caring”.

Subject: English

Activities done this week: Recapitulation of standing line was done.

Sleeping line and left slanting line were introduced followed by writing activity.

Upcoming activities/ HW :Please help your child practice the strokes( standing line,sleeping line and left slanting line)

Help your child complete the given homework i.e;left slanting line.

Subject: Math

Activities done this week:   Oral counting of numbers 1-10 was done using objects.

 

Upcoming activities/ HW : Activities related to strokes.

Subject: Art

Activities done this week:

1.Students were provided a picture(mango) and were asked to do colour in it.

2.Students enjoyed doing fingerprinting in their drawing book.

1.Rangotsav competition(Arts competition) is going to be held.

HW: Help your child practice colouring in a specified area in order to win the competition.

Activities done this week: God’s love is so wonderful song was recited with the students followed by actions

Upcoming activities/ HW: Chanda chanda mama aaj mere ghar aana song will be introduced to the students.
