Activities done this week:
The learner profile which was followed this week was Inquirer students developed their natural curiosity. They acquired the skills necessary to conduct inquiry and researched to show independence in learning. They actively enjoyed learning and this love of learning will be sustained throughout their lives.
Upcoming activities / HW:
Students will be Knowledgeable next week. They will develop and use conceptual understanding and explore knowledge across a range of disciplines. Students will engage with issues and ideas that have local and global significance.

Title: Peace and Conflict
TRANSDISCIPLINARY THEME - Sharing The Planet
Central idea: Finding peaceful solutions to conflict leads to a better quality of human life.

Activities done this week:
- Students reflected on the PYP Exhibition.
- Students read The Peace Book by Todd Parr and understood the meaning of Peace. They shared what peace means to them.
- Students expressed their understanding of Peace and Conflict using a Y-chart.
- Students identified the various causes of conflict - Personal, social, Local, National and global.
Upcoming activities/ HW: Do an inquiry on Local and Global Conflicts.

Activities done this week:
- Fractions were continued. Students gained an understanding of types of fractions, ordering and comparing fractions. Addition and subtraction of fractions was introduced.
- Students were told in brief about pi and ‘Pi Day’ was celebrated in the assembly.
Upcoming activities/ HW : Complete the worksheet given based on Fractions.

Activities done this week:
Speaking: Students discussed various conflicts they witnessed in their surrounding.
Reading: Students did a novel study on ‘Out of my Mind’ and empathised with the characters.
Grammar: Pronoun was introduced.
Writing: Students wrote the PYPX reflection in their journals. Leveled task cards were assigned to students to check their comprehension skills.
