about applications of using simple machines

• The principles and types of simple and compound machines
• Inventions which use the principles of simple machines
• The application of simple machines in our lives

Activities done this week:

• Students learnt about various types of stereotypes

and gender bias are related to media

• Students did practical activity like (cutting beans with

hand and using scissor) to understand which work is easier.

• Students thought of ideas for the central idea through placemat activity.
• Students learnt about machines as well as simple

machines and their uses.

The learner profile attribute ‘will be focused next week.The learner profile that we has focus this week was inquirer.      

Students watched videos and read some text about the topic and have enhanced their knowledge and is inquiring about the same at home by their parents and grandparents.

Upcoming activities / HW: The same learner profile will be continued next week also.students will be inquiring more on monuments ,culture ,food of hyderabad.

Central idea: Understanding the culture, history and geography of where people live helps them

Activities done this week:students has done a timeline on now and then they has shown their understanding on changes in culture food dresses and celebration before and now.Student has done show and tell activity on their favorite monuments. Students had done a graphic organiser  on the culture of hyderabad.

Upcoming activities/ HW: Google and find out about the culture of hyderabad that is dress,food ,celebrations ,language,heritage ,dance form etc.and read comprehension given.

Upcoming activities / HW

Students will continue to be Inquirer this week. They will develop their natural curiosity, and acquire the skills necessary to conduct inquiry and research to show independence in learning. They actively enjoy learning and this love of learning will be sustained throughout their lives.
